Intestinal tissue model

TNO recently developed a physiological relevant Intestinal tissue model, referred to as InTESTine™Barrier Chip (IBC). The IBC model allows to study absorption and translocation toxicity of pharmaceutical, biological and nutritional compunds across the intestinal wall.

In order to monitor the barrier integrity of in the InTESTine™IBC, TNO will test the Artemis with a custom designed chip holder for 4 chips. Locsense supports TNO with implementing TEER measurements and development of the semi-customized solution of the Artemis and chip holder.
